Our Ministries
Kids
Children are our most precious gift. Throughout scripture we can see how very special they are to Jesus, and we want to show them the same love that Jesus did. Just like adults, children want to know that they are loved and valued and that there is a place for them when they come to church. Here at Barkersville we want to teach children the importance of God’s word; not only how to understand it but why and how it applies to their everyday lives. We believe as in Proverbs 22:6 that when we “Train up a child in the way they should go; and when they are old, they will not depart from it.” During Sunday School classes our teachers do just that – teach the word of God through stories, activities and play, all while providing a fun and safe place for the children to be with friends and grow in God.

Women
The Barkersville Chrisiian Women’s Ministry provides a community for women to grow spiritually, build relationships, and serve others. This ministry offers various activities such as Bible studies, retreats, mentorship programs, and service projects all aimed at nurturing women’s faith, empowering them and encouraging them to share their faith within their families, church and communities

Our Men's ministry programs all center on gathering as a community around the Word of God and living lives modeled after Christ. The goal of all of our Men's groups is to help challenge participants to live out their faith while impacting others with the power and truth of the Gospel.
